36 Days of Type

36 Days of Type is invitation to designers, illustrators & artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from the Latin alphabet. My alphabet was inspired visually by Delft tiles and each letter references a city whose name begins with that letter. I alternated between creating illustrations of the city and creating repeat patterns inspired by architecture of the city. For the numbers, I was inspired by blue and white ceramics of different cultures.
